It's about time

I made this shirt several months ago. (May, maybe?) I wear it ALL the time - it is so comfortable and does a great job of covering my post-baby poochiness. I can't remember what the pattern is. If anyone really wants to know, email me and I'll find it. The fabric is Sandi Henderson's Ginger Blossom - Avocado Tile and Vintage Dots Breeze.

I've been cutting things out for the Pumpkin Festival - pouches, birthday banners, notebooks - and now I need to start sewing them up. I am so overwhelmed. I have fifty million things to do and there just aren't enough hours in the day. Isn't that every mom's lament?

  1. Your shirt is beautiful! Love that fabric. :)

Gearing up for the big pumpkin fest.... I can't wait to see what you make.

  2. Gorgeous! As usual! I need to order one of those birthday banners from you. I have an idea for one that could be interchangeable for all the kids. BUt, I'll wait until you get a few big things out of the way (like your huge undertaking involving 62 squares)!

  3. Cute! Love the fabrics. You have such a good eye for picking out fabric combinations!

  4. soooo good to read a post from you, and i would like to know the pattern. lovely combo, too!

  5. so cute! What is the pattern, please?

  6. about to have baby no 2, would love to know the pattern, as there will soon be lots that needs to be hidden!

  7. Darling shirts!!!

I'm not sure if you have heard about the tragedy surround Nie Nie (Stephanie Nielson) and her husband. They were recently involved in a private plane crash and were burned severely. More information can be found on the following links:

    Nie Nie's blog:

    Her sister C-Jane's blog:

    Her recovery website:

At Scribble It, we are helping by selling our Knobby Knee Birds for only $5.00 and all proceeds will be donated to her recovery fund.

Here's the big favor: would you be willing to make a post on your blog and link to our website (see below) so that those interested may help in this great cause. I would be willing to send you a few sets of birds if you are interested or something else that catches your eye.

    Any help would be wonderful!
    I appreciate it...
